How Does It Work?
In general terms the way we work with you, the author, is set out below:
1. You tell us what you want to achieve by publishing a book.
2. We advise you on the best way forward in terms of book format, number of copies, languages and territories, etc, based on our expertise.
3. Once we have agreed a way forward we will give you a quotation for your share of the costs and a contract to sign. The quotation will include all of the following services that are required: image processing for offset printing, copy editing and proofing, text translation, book design and typesetting, cover design, book production, book distribution in selected territories and marketing.
4. You pay half of the cost up front (the other half is paid on publication).
5. We go ahead and produce the full print-ready book design, consulting you at every stage.
6. Once the final book design is approved by you, the book is produced and published.
7. We distribute and promote the book internationally as appropriate, with help from you.
8. You are paid a royalty on sales of the book through the publisher, and can also purchase copies at discounted rates for your own sales.
